On Tuesday (10/9), Tropical Biopharmaceutical Research Center (TropBRC) LRI-PGK IPB, in collaboration with the Chemistry Department of FMIPA IPB University and PT. Novatech Integra Solusindo, held an in-person seminar titled Seminar on Proximate Analysis and Particle Size Analysis. The seminar took place at the Startup Center (GTC) Building, 5th Floor, in the STP Area of the IPB Taman Kencana Campus.
The event was opened by Mr. Sapriyanto, the President Director of PT. Novatech Integra Solusindo, and Rudi Heryanto, M.Sc., the Chairman of the Committee, following the singing of “Indonesia Raya.” The first speaker, Dr. Wulan Tri Wahyuni (IPB University, Indonesia), presented on “Principle and Application of Particle Size Analysis.” The second speaker, Ola Johansson (OPSIS LiquidLINE, Sweden), discussed “Proximate Analysis (Technology and Innovation),” and Dominique Decker, Ph.D. (Fritsch, Germany), served as the final speaker with a presentation on “Sample Preparation and Particle Size Analysis.”
The event concluded with a demonstration of the equipment and the presentation of certificates to the three speakers by the Committee Chair. Participants enjoyed the seminar due to its interesting topics and explanations, the sharing of useful knowledge, and the adequate facilities, and expressed hope for similar seminars in the future.
