Tropical Biopharmaca Research Center (TropBRC) has held a two-day “Workshop Kemometrik dalam Riset Metabolomik untuk Pemula” on September 10-11, 2024, via the Zoom Meeting platform. This workshop discusses chemometrics, namely the science that applies mathematical and statistical methods to chemical data, in accordance with the definition of the International Chemometric Society (ICS), which explains this science as a way of relating measurements taken in a chemical system or process to the form of that system using mathematical methods. or statistics.
This activity was opened by Dr. Waras Nurcholis, Head of the Information, Public Relations, Workshop and JJI TropBRC LRI-PGK IPB University Unit, and was attended by academics from various universities and national researchers. This workshop presented expert speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Mohamad Rafi, Rudi Heryanto, M.Si., and Dr. Dewi Anggraini Septaningsih, M.Si., who shared their knowledge and experience in the field of chemometrics and metabolomics research.
