On Thursday, December 12, 2024, Tropical Bioharmaca Research Center (TropBRC) LRI-PGK IPB University hosted Prof. Phillipe Gerardin and Prof. Christine Gerardin from the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Lorraine, France. The visit focused on discussing the Nusantara Project, a collaborative initiative exploring the applications of biomolecular science and wood for medical, cosmetic, and environmental conservation purposes.
The guests were warmly received by the Head of TropBRC, Prof. Dr. Mohamad Rafi, S.Si., M.Si., alongside TropBRC researchers. The discussion was highly productive, highlighting opportunities for collaboration in advancing biomolecular technologies for sustainability. The event concluded with a dinner at the “Rain Spices” restaurant, further strengthening the ties between the two institutions.
