A total of 13 intern students from the Department of Biochemistry and Chemistry, FMIPA IPB University; the Vocational School, IPB University; and the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA, University of Indonesia, visited the Animal Testing Laboratory (UKHP) at the IPB Dramaga Campus on Monday (13/1). The group was welcomed by UKHP staff members, drh. Leliana Nugrahaning Widi, drh. Rere Epiyanti, and drh. Maudika Pamela Fiorenza, who provided an introduction to the unit’s facilities and services.

UKHP is a facility dedicated to supporting in vivo research. It offers experimental animals, including Sprague-Dawley (SD) strain rats and DDY strain mice, along with specialized feed. The unit also provides well-equipped cages designed to accommodate various research needs. This visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the professional and ethical management of experimental animals.
