A total of 13 intern students from the Department of Biochemistry and Chemistry, FMIPA IPB University; the Vocational School, IPB University; and the Department of Chemistry, FMIPA, University of Indonesia, visited the Animal Testing Laboratory (UKHP) at the IPB Dramaga Campus on Monday (13/1). The group was welcomed by drh. Rere Epiyanti, a UKHP staff member, who provided an introduction to the unit’s facilities and services.

UKHP is a facility dedicated to supporting in vivo research. It offers experimental animals, including Sprague-Dawley (SD) strain rats and DDY strain mice, along with specialized feed. The unit also provides well-equipped cages designed to accommodate various research needs. This visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the professional and ethical management of experimental animals.
