Tropical Biopharmaca Research Center (TropBRC) LRI-PGK IPB University held an Employee Meeting, Thanksgiving, and Cucurak at Pagi-Sore Restaurant, Jl. Padjajaran, Bogor. The event was attended by the TropBRC Management Team and staff, with a total of approximately 35 participants. Originally scheduled for the end of last year, the meeting was postponed several times before finally taking place. In his remarks, the Head of TropBRC emphasized the importance of working more effectively and efficiently while maintaining discipline, particularly in terms of punctuality.
In addition to the meeting, the event also served as a moment of thanksgiving for the graduation of two TropBRC members: Dr. Rudi Heryanto, S.Si., M.Si., who completed his studies in the Doctoral Program in Chemistry at IPB University, and Laela Wulansari, S.Si., M.Si., who earned her degree from the Master’s Program in Chemistry at IPB University. Their achievements are a source of pride for TropBRC and are expected to inspire other employees to pursue further academic and professional growth.
As part of tradition, the event also included cucurak, a Sundanese custom of gathering and sharing a meal in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan. This tradition strengthens bonds among employees and enhances the sense of unity within the TropBRC community. This event is expected to further reinforce teamwork and collaboration, ultimately contributing to the institution’s continued progress.
