Every year, IPB University holds a ceremony to commemorate the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia as a tribute to the nation’s heroes. This year, the 80th Independence Day commemoration ceremony was held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Rectorate Field, IPB Dramaga Campus. The event, which took place from 07.00 to 09.00 WIB, was led by the Rector of IPB University, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria, SP, M.Si., as the Ceremony Inspector.
The ceremony was carried out solemnly in a spirit of nationalism, attended with discipline and enthusiasm by the academic community of IPB University. On this occasion, TropBRC staff also joined and participated in the event as a tribute to the nation’s heroes and as a reflection on Indonesia’s struggle for independence. Their presence also symbolizes TropBRC’s commitment to upholding national values while contributing to Indonesia’s progress through education, research, and innovation.
