TropBRC internship and industrial training (PKL) programs are highly valued by our institution. However, the Laboratory of the Tropical Biopharmaca Research Center has an important operational update. Specifically, we will temporarily suspend new student admissions for these laboratory programs. This temporary pause will run from December 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026. Furthermore, this official decision was formally announced on December 23, 2025.
Reasons for the Operational Adjustment
Primarily, this policy is implemented to support internal laboratory activities and daily operations. Our main goal is the comprehensive optimization of all internal lab resources. Consequently, this ensures all operations can be carried out effectively and smoothly. In addition, we want our future research procedures to be well-planned.
Managing a high-level laboratory at LRI-PGKH IPB University requires constant dedication. Therefore, periodic evaluations and facility optimizations are necessary for academic excellence. This short operational break allows our dedicated staff to focus on improvements. As a result, we cannot host external trainees during this specific timeframe. Ultimately, this proactive step guarantees a highly productive environment for everyone.

Undoubtedly, we understand that many students look forward to a TropBRC internship. Industrial training is an essential component of higher education and professional development. Because of this, we sincerely appreciate the attention and understanding of all parties.
Please adjust your academic schedules accordingly if you originally planned to apply. Fortunately, this temporary closure only affects the months of December and January.
