Preserving Heritage, Empowering Health: National Jamu Day 2026
National Jamu Day 2026 will be held on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, carrying the theme:
“Modernizing the Heritage of Jamu: Healthy, Empowered, and Global Society.”
This event aims to strengthen public awareness of Indonesia’s traditional herbal heritage (jamu) as part of a modern, scientific, and sustainable healthy lifestyle. Organized through collaboration between academics, researchers, students, herbal practitioners, and local communities, the program promotes the integration of herbal knowledge into public health education and community empowerment.
The event will feature several engaging activities, including:
– Empon-Empon Talk discussing diabetes and hypertension prevention through Sambiloto, Temulawak, and Kumis Kucing.
– MasterChef Jamu Competition, highlighting creative herbal-based culinary innovation.
– Development Communication Poster & Video Exhibition by IPB University students.
– Free Blood Pressure & Blood Sugar Check for the public.
The event will take place at FEMA IPB University, Darmaga Campus, Bogor, from 08.00–14.00 WIB, with limited quotas available.
