The Tropical Biopharmaca Research Center (TropBRC) LRI-PGK IPB University extends its congratulations and best wishes to Prof. Dr. Ir. Eka Intan Kumala Putri, M.Si., Permanent Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Management, IPB University, on the successful delivery of her inspiring scientific oration. In addition to her active role in teaching at the Study Program of Resource and Environmental Economics (ESL), she also contributes as a researcher at TropBRC.
The scientific oration, entitled “From Waste to Environmental Legitimacy: Circular Economy as a Transformative Approach and Commodification of Sustainability in Indonesia”, was delivered on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Andi Hakim Nasoetion Auditorium, IPB Darmaga Campus. The hybrid-format event attracted many participants, both onsite and online, from 08:30 to 11:00 WIB.
This oration is expected to broaden understanding and raise awareness of the importance of the circular economy in Indonesia. May the ideas conveyed inspire concrete actions in sustainable resource management, strengthen cross-disciplinary collaboration, and provide positive contributions to economic development and environmental conservation.
