BRC RESEARCHER GOT IPTEK AWARD
On Wednesday (10/8), Biopharmaca Research Center (BRC) Researcher got Widyasilpawijana IPTEK Award from Ministry of Research and Technology, given at the Auditorium of Widya Bhakti Building Puspiptek Serpong. This award of IPTEK Widyasilpawijana is given to activists of science & technology under the age of 45 years, who has produced concrete actions in an effort to promote science & technology in Indonesia, and has good communication skills to be able to disseminate the information to the public. The winner will be the ambassador of science & technology for a year, and will give lectures on science & technology according to his or her competence.
The award presentation is part of the celebration of the 16th National Technology Awakening Day (HARTEKNAS/Hari Kebangkitan Teknologi Nasional), which was opened by the President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. At the opening ceremony, the president asked the public, academics and others to work in collaboration to save the nation's future. He said that the contribution of technology could be one of the keys to the future’s success, in order to save the future of our planet.
Congratulation to Dr. Dyah Iswantini Pradono, MAgr., who has been got IPTEK Award and also 103 Indonesia Innovations Award. Hopefully the other BRC researchers will catch up the other award next.
