A BRC TEAM VISITED POLYTECHNIC OF PALU, CENTRAL SULAWESI

On 19 November 2011, a BRC team led by the Director, Prof. Dr. Latifah K. Darusman, visited Polytechnic of Palu in Central Sulawesi. The BRC team was welcomed by the Director of Polytechnic, Dr. Nirwan Sahiri.

Trough the studium generale set up by the polytechnic, Prof Latifah delivered a speech titled “ Potensi dan Pemanfaatan Sumber Biofarmaka sebagai Wahana Peningkatan Kesehatan dan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat. This studium generale was attended by the lectures and students of polytechnic.

At the same time, BRC and Polytechnic of Palu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to start the collaboration for human resources quality and research improvement.

The Polytechnic of Palu strives to engage to be a focal point for biopharmaca research and development in Central Sulawesi.So for the first start, BRC and Polytechnic Palu try to investigate the potency of local seaweed as biopharmaca resources.
