BRC RESEARCHER AS SPEAKER AT TALK SHOW OF INNOVATION AGROINDUSTRY EXPO 2013

Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) held Innovation Agroindustry Expo from November 25-26 2013, which Located at Gedung D Ditjen Pendidikan Tinggi, Komplek Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Jalan Pintu 1 Senayan, Jenderal Sudirman Jakarta 10270. BRC Researcher, Dr. Irmanida Batubara, MSi., came as speaker at the Talkshow.

The event started by the opening from Director General of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Ir. Djoko Santoso, M.Sc., then visit the expo. After that, there was discussion about problems for utilization of research in universities. The event was closed by annoucement of best research and 3 main winner. The best research, each awarded Rp 10.000.000 from Pertamina & Bank Mandiri, are:
1. Prof. Dr. Ir. Daniel Saputra, M.S.A.Eng.; Prof. Ir. Filli Pratama, M.Sc.(Hons).; Ph.D.; Dr.Ir. Entis Halimi, M.Sc., (Universitas Sriwijaya), title: "Kemasan Plastik Fleksibel Untuk Penyimpanan Buah dan Sayuran Segar".
2. Dr. Ir. Suswati, MP (Universitas Medan Area), titile: "Bibit Pisang Barangan yang Sehat dan Produksi Tinggi".
3. Dr Agung Karuniawan (Universitas Padjajaran), title:  "Varietas Unggul Bengkuang Tipe Baru untuk Pangan (Gula Tinggi), Industry (Bahan Kering Tinggi untuk Tepung) dan Kosmetika (Pemutih Kulit)".
4. Prof. Dr. Kuncoro Diharjo, ST., MT (Universitas Sebelas Maret), title: "Produk Material Bio- Nanokomposit Tahan Nyala Api dan Biodegradabel dari Limbah Polipropiline dan Serat Kenaf".
5. Prof. Ir. Loekas Soesanto, M.S., Ph.D (Universitas Jenderal Soedirman), title: "Bio Pestisida untuk Layu Fusarium Patogen Tular Tanah"
6. Universitas Syiah Kuala, title: "Ayam Kampung Unggul, 6 Minggu Panen"

And the 3 winners are:
1. Dr. Rifda Naufalin SP, M.Si (Universitas Jenderal Soedirman), title: "Pengawet Alami Kecombrang" (awarded Rp 60.000.000 from Bank Mandiri).
2. Prof. Dr. Sri Bandiati (Universitas Padjajaran), title: "Domba Padjadjaran Berorientasi Pasar" (awarded Rp 55.000.000 from Pertamina).
3. Dr. Suwarno, MS., drh. (Universitas Airlangga), title: "Kit Diagbnostik ELISA Avian Influenza" (awarded Rp 50.000.000 from PT. Semen Indonesia).
