Tropical Biopharmaca Research Center (TropBRC) LRI-PGK IPB University is participating in the exhibition organized by the Indonesian Essential Oils Council (Dewan Atsiri Indonesia or DAI). As part of its annual events, DAI is once again hosting the National Essential Oils Conference (KNMA). In 2024, KNMA will focus on the theme “Ekonomi Sirkular untuk Mendukung Keberlanjutan UMKM Minyak Atsiri.” The exhibition will be held at Botani Square Mall for three days, from October 1 to October 3, 2024.
This exhibition is specifically aimed at producers of essential oil-based products, under the theme “Pesona Aroma Indonesia.” The exhibition has taken place on the second floor, which also serves as a culinary center for mall visitors. The goal of this exhibition is to introduce and promote various essential oil-based products to a broader market, while providing a platform for networking and collaboration among producers, distributors, and consumers. This event presents a valuable opportunity for MSMEs in the essential oil sector to showcase the unique qualities of their products and extend their reach to a larger audience.
In addition, there will be interactive activities such as product demonstrations and direct consultations with essential oil experts, aimed at raising public awareness of the benefits of essential oil products in everyday life. Visitors to the exhibition will also have the opportunity to experience firsthand a variety of innovative essential oil-based products, ranging from natural cosmetics and aromatherapy to health-related items.
Talk shows held during the exhibition will further help participants promote their products. These sessions will allow business owners to share their experiences in developing essential oil-based enterprises and expanding their market reach, both locally and internationally. By focusing on both domestic and global markets, the event will position Indonesian MSMEs as key players in the global essential oil industry.
By bringing together industry players, this event will foster innovation, collaboration, and the continued development of the essential oil sector, ensuring its sustainability and growth for years to come.
