On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the TropBRC Laboratory (LabTropBRC) welcomed a delegation from the Regional Institute of Science and Technology (LKST) of IPB University. The visit aimed to showcase the advanced facilities and research capabilities of LabTropBRC.
The LKST IPB University delegation was warmly received by Laela Wulansari, a staff member of LabTropBRC. During the visit, the team was given a tour of the laboratory’s key facilities, including the Preparation Laboratory, Spectrophotometry Laboratory, and Chromatography Laboratory. These state-of-the-art facilities are equipped with advanced tools that support cutting-edge research in tropical science, such as the analysis of bioactive compounds, quality testing of herbal extracts, and compound separation using chromatography technology.
This visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to explore potential collaborations in research and development, particularly in the field of tropical natural products. Discussions also focused on innovative approaches to sustainable ecosystems and environmentally friendly product development.
