On Thursday (6/2), the Tropical Biopharmaca Research Center (TropBRC), LRI-PGK, IPB University, welcomed a delegation from PannonPharma, Ltd., Hungary. The delegation consisted of Jozsef Peter Pallos, Eszter Virag, and Bodis Gyula. They were received by TropBRC researchers, namely Prof. Dr. Eng. Wisnu Ananta Kusuma, S.T., M.T., and Dr. Ir. Ninuk Purnaningsih, M.Sc., along with TropBRC staff. The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration in research and the development of biopharmaceutical-based herbal products.

As part of the agenda, the delegation also visited the Biopharmaca Conservation & Cultivation Station (BCCS) at the Cikabayan Experimental Garden, IPB Darmaga Campus. They were welcomed by the BCCS Manager, Taopik Ridwan, S.P., M.Si., who provided insights into the conservation and cultivation of biopharmaceutical plants currently under development. Through this visit, it is hoped that a productive collaboration can be established between TropBRC and PannonPharma in research and innovation related to biopharmaceutical-based products.
