The Tropical Biopharmaca Research Center (TropBRC) of LRI-PGK IPB University received a visit from Universitas Muhammadiyah Kuningan (UMK) on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. The visit was attended by the Rector of UMK, Dr. apt. Wawang Anwarudin, M.Sc., and the Director of the Directorate of Institutional Affairs, Cooperation, and Planning at UMK, Dr. Casnan, M.Si. They were warmly welcomed by the Secretary of TropBRC, Apt. Dr. Siti Sa’diah, M.Sc., at the TropBRC office, located on the IPB Taman Kencana Campus, Bogor.
On this occasion, Dr. Siti Sa’diah opened the meeting by presenting an overview of TropBRC as a Center of Excellence in Science and Technology for Higher Education in the field of tropical biopharmaca. The session was followed by a tour of the TropBRC Laboratory (LabTropBRC). This visit marked an important initial step in exploring potential collaborations between TropBRC IPB and UMK, particularly in the development of research and education in the field of biopharmaca.
