On the morning of Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the Tropical Biopharmaca Research Center (TropBRC) of IPB University welcomed a visit from PT. Aurora Alam Khatulistiwa. The meeting took place in the TropBRC meeting room, located in the CRC Building, IPB Taman Kencana Campus. The visitors were warmly received by the Head of the TropBRC Laboratory (LabTropBRC), Dr. Rudi Heryanto, S.Si., M.Si. He was accompanied by LabTropBRC staff member apt. Nunuk Kurniati Nengsih, S.Farm., and the Head of the Information, Public Relations, Workshop, and Innovation Networking Unit (UIHWJ), Prof. Dr. Waras Nurcholis, S.Si., M.Si.
Mr. Saptogiri, Commissioner of PT. Aurora Alam Khatulistiwa, represented the company and attended the meeting with his team. The primary purpose of their visit was to explore strategic collaboration opportunities in the research and development of tropical natural product-based innovations. The discussion was dynamic, covering potential collaboration in biopharmaceutical innovation, the utilization of LabTropBRC facilities, and scientific support for product testing and validation. This synergy is expected to strengthen the research ecosystem and the downstream development of natural product innovations in Indonesia.
