The Tropical Biopharmaca Research Center (TropBRC) of IPB University welcomed representatives from Thermo Fisher Scientific on Monday, October 6, 2025. The meeting, held at the CRC Building, 2nd Floor, IPB Taman Kencana Campus, was officially received by Dr. Rudi Heryanto, S.Si., M.Si., Head of the TropBRC Laboratory, along with the laboratory team.
Thermo Fisher Scientific was represented by Mr. Joe Set (Application Scientist) and Mr. Narendra Bramantyo (Commercial Leader), accompanied by representatives from PT Alphasains Dinamika, Thermo Fisher’s exclusive partner in Indonesia—Ms. Gina Ayu W. (Product Manager) and Mr. Mohammad Majid (Sales).
The visit served as a forum for sharing knowledge and insights on the application of spectroscopy technology in research activities. In addition, both parties discussed potential collaborations in research development and the implementation of advanced analytical technologies in the field of tropical biopharmaca.
Through this interactive and productive discussion, it is hoped that a strategic partnership between TropBRC IPB University and Thermo Fisher Scientific can be established. Such collaboration is expected to drive research advancement and strengthen laboratory capacity in supporting the growth of scientific knowledge and innovation in tropical biopharmaca in Indonesia.
