Mandate
- Explore, develop and utilize indigenous knowledge and technology related to productivity, health and disease control on humans, animals and plants;
- Recommendation on bioethics policies, conservation, sustainable use and development related to indigenous natural resources for productivity and disease control on humans, animals and plants;
- Establish Good Agricultural Practice (GAP), Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) of tropical natural resources as a biopharmaca product (Jamu, medicinal nutraceutical, and cosmetics) for humans, animals and plants;
- Developing a model of standardization of biopharmaca products based on natural resources for humans, animals and plants;
- Developing the socio-economic benefits through downstream and commercialization of medicinal products; and
- Being Center of Tropical Biopharmaca Information Services
